Precautions When Embedding the SDK
Updated: 05/28/2019
Models created in the Editor require some attention when incorporating them into the Cubism SDK for Unity.
If you are using models with software other than the Cubism SDK for Unity or if you are only using models for videos, there is no problem. However, if you intend to incorporate models into the Cubism SDK for Unity, be sure to check the following information.
Limitations of “Bezier” in Graph Editor
When handling motion data in the Unity SDK, the “Bezier” curve edit handles in the Graph Editor can only be edited in the vertical direction.
(Because it is adapted to the specifications of the game engine, only the angle is recognized.)
By setting the “Target version” in the inspector palette, you can select the version according to your needs.
If you select the SDK for Unity, you can preliminarily restrict editing of horizontal handles.
For more information, please see the following page.
Select Target Version
Tips
The “Restrict to SDK usage” function has been implemented since version 3.0.07, and the “Target version” function since version 4.0.00.
Therefore, the restriction does not apply to animation files created with earlier versions.
Setting the target version to SDK for Unity automatically adjusts the position of the handle.
However, please note that the motion may not be correctly represented in the edited area with Beziers.
