This section describes the Mesh Edit mode menu.
Item | Details |
---|---|
Finish Mesh editing | Exit the Mesh Edit mode. Shortcut key [Ctrl] + [E] |
Automatic Mesh generator (Mesh Edit mode) | Generate the mesh automatically. Shortcut key [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [A] See the “Automatic Mesh Generator” page for details. |
Auto attach Edge (line) | Connect edges so that a polygon consisting of four or more points is composed of three points. Shortcut key [Ctrl] + [R] See “About ArtMesh” for details. |
Reflect Horizontally | Flip the mesh left to right. |
Reflect Vertically | Flip the mesh upside down. |
Flip along the axis | When Mirror Edit is enabled, the vertices are inverted to match the axis settings. |
Merge vertices | Combines already struck vertices and the edges associated with them into one. |
Glue/bind the selected vertices | Binds the selected vertex with glue. Shortcut key [Ctrl] + [G] See “Glue” for details. |
Unglue/unbind the selected vertices | Unbind the glue on the selected vertex. Shortcut keys [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [G] See “Glue” for details. |
Stroke mesh-mapping (beta) | Increase mesh width: Increase the width of the created mesh. Reduce mesh width: Decrease the width of the created mesh. Increase divisions: Increase the repeated interval so that the mesh width spacing changes. Reduce divisions: Reduce the repeated interval so that the mesh width spacing changes. Change the number of vertices in the mesh width: The number of vertices in the mesh width is toggled in the following order: 1, 2, 3, 1. Confirm strokes: Finalize the mesh created from the stroke. |
SubTools | Arrow Selection: You can select and move mesh vertices. Add Vertex: Add mesh vertices. Delete Vertex: Click to delete mesh vertices and edges (lines). Eraser: Delete mesh vertices and edges (lines) while dragging. Note: You can change the range using [B] + dragging. Lasso: Select multiple mesh vertices using a lasso. Add points: Drag to further divide the mesh and add more vertices. Stroke Mesh-mapping (beta): Mesh division is done as if writing while dragging. See “Edit Mesh Manually” for more information on each of these features. |
