How to use Live2D action frames

What is a Live2D action frames?

A Live2D action frame is a system that allows you to frame a specified scene in nizima ACTION!! into the texture of a Live2D model that has been animated with Live2D Cubism Editor. The contents and movements of the scene to be framed can be freely edited in nizima ACTION!!

The figure below shows the state of the scene before it is framed into the Live2D action frames. It is a normal Live2D model made to move with parameters, with some of the ArtMesh applied with user data settings described below. 

The following video is an example of a Live2D action frame used in an actual video production.
The first half is before framing and the second half is the actual framing of the scene. The contents and movements of the scene to be framed can be freely edited in nizima ACTION!! 

The framed scene is shown below. 

How to use Live2D action frames

(1) Place the action frame asset on top of nizima ACTION!! 

To use action frame assets from the Asset Library

Click “Assets” in the sidebar > “Live2D Action Frames” and click on the icon of your favorite asset to create a Live2D action frame layer.

To upload and use your own action frames

Drag and drop a folder containing .MOC3 files onto nizima ACTION!! You can create a Live2D action frame layer.

(2) Create the scene you want to frame.  

Right-click “Add New Scene” in the scene list or on the tab at the top of the canvas to create a new scene and edit it freely. 

(3) Select the target scene to be framed in the layer settings of the Live2D action frames.   

(4) Set keys to make a motion or select a motion. 

Like other layers generated from Live2D models, they can be changed on the time axis by setting keys. 

If a “Motion” or “Expression” is set for the Live2D action frames, simply press the “Apply” button to apply the motion.
